Discussion:
The members were briefed on the background and purpose of establishing the All Pakistan Meat Exporters & Processors Association (APMEPA). It was discussed that the association was formed with the objective of representing and safeguarding the collective interests of Pakistan’s meat exporters and processors. The forum aims to promote the growth of the meat industry, ensure compliance with international standards, and strengthen coordination between the private sector and relevant government bodies.
Resolution:
The house unanimously acknowledged the significance of APMEPA’s formation and reaffirmed its commitment to working collectively for the development of Pakistan’s meat export sector. It was resolved that the association will continue to operate as a representative body for all stakeholders and work in close collaboration with the concerned ministries and departments.
